Dave has a vast background in Pro Mod racing. He has been working in one capacity or another in the pits for Pro Mod teams over the last 15 years. He has been on the winning end for; Thomas Patterson in both IHRA and NHRA National events, Snowbird Nationals with Johnny Rocca , Super Chevy with Jim Nordhougen as well as Zach and Cody Barklage. In 2007 Zach and Cody were #1 & #2 in points at Super Chevy as well as setting E.T. (6.01) and speed (235mph) records.

Dave would like to add a special thanks to Bill Barrett. Dave credits his success as a crew chief to Bill. He appreciates the knowledge Bill has shared with him over the years.

Dave is currently living in Eldon, Missouri with his wife Bambi. We would like to thank Dave for the dedication and knowledge that he has brought to our team. He certainly is an asset to our team.

“Uncle Mel “, as we call him is our eyes and ears at the track.
He is very committed to the team off the track as well. He works very closely with Andrew in between events to keep everything running smoothly. He also is known to be quite the comedian. He keeps us laughing all weekend , no matter what happens. When not at the track he is working his job in the New York City Schools , building his 67 Camaro, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. We appreciate the time he spends helping us do what we do.
