What is Multiple Sclerosis?
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a lifelong and sometimes disabling disease of the central nervous system that affects nearly a third of a million Americans. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20-50, just when some are beginning careers and families. MS symptoms are highly individual and vary enormously in severity and duration. They may include at one time or another abnormal fatigue, impaired vision, loss of balance and muscle coordination, slurred speech, tremors, stiffness and, in the most severe cases, partial or complete paralysis.

MS affected the Parise family when one of our friends was diagnosed with the disease. So, in 2005, “Racing for a Cure “ began. We travel to different racetracks where we raise donations as well as awareness.
